Denver Media Credit Union holds Charter No. 17 from the state of Colorado and was founded in 1934 as the Denver Post Employees Credit Union. That name was changed to Denver Media Credit Union in 1988, when other companies were being added to the field of membership.

Denver Media ranks about number 66 in size among the 180 credit unions in Colorado; our assets total $20 million – making us about the size of a small town bank. All accounts are insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the U.S. government.
